Our Commitment To Providing High Quality Care At Home

Call-In Homecare is committed to providing the highest quality of care services to our clients. One of the ways we achieve this is through our pledge to continuous training and improvement for our staff. We understand that providing care services requires a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of our service users which is why we prioritise training and development for our staff.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support our clients to live independently and with dignity through providing an excellent quality of care that is tailored to their individual needs. Our commitment to continuous training and improvement enables us to fulfil our mission, reflected in both mandatory and non-mandatory training programs. Our staff are required to complete training programs that cover essential aspects of home care such as medication administration, health and safety, and safeguarding. We also provide non-mandatory training programs that support the personal and professional development of our staff.

In 2023, Call-In Homecare placed 7 office colleagues on 3 day Mental Health First Aider Training courses. This training has equipped our team to provide professional support to colleagues that are facing personal or professional challenges. The output being a safe and supportive working environment for all the Call-In Homecare team.

Mandatory Training

At Call-In Homecare, we ensure our colleagues have a fair start to their employment. All Care Assistants must pass a three-day training course with our in-house training department to ensure they are equipped to support Service Users in the local community.

New recruits come to one of our local community training academies to learn in-person with our Training Leads. Additionally, we offer a digital training course for those who have travel issues or availability pressures such as childcare collection. Our training resources are continually reviewed and developed in line with governance and operational remits. In 2023, our Learning and Development Manager has audited and redesigned our training academy offering. This means our colleagues are equipped with vital skills and up-to-date knowledge of the highest standard of care.
